CONCENTRATION

Increasing the network density, by adding regional enlargements to the existing logistics infrastructure both in North America, and in Europe

DIVERSIFICATION

Adding new areas of speciality in the life science and the industrial emergency division

REGIONAL EXPANSION

Building up of own infrastructure in continents that (so far) are handled via the LIFE COURIERS partner network (i.e. Life Science activities in Asia and in South America)

LIFE COURIERS is currently managing a considerable acquisition pipeline to generate these growth potentials. A dedicated business development team is handling and executing this pipeline with operational excellence.

What we are looking for

The company of interest must be engaged in a special logistics service of some kind. Simple forwarders and city couriers are uninteresting, as are land-based heavy transports. At best, the company is already internationally active.

Basically, the following competences and products are of interest (not conclusive):

  • Logistics for pharmaceutical products and sensitive materials
  • Logistical peculiarities such as security, considerable administrative effort, special regulations
  • Transports with special hygienic regulations or with special size requirements
  • Live transports including organ transports and food transports (airfreight)
  • Logistics service providers for problem situations (e.g. return of corpses)
  • Spare parts logistics, especially AOG (Aircraft-on-Ground), ship spare parts or drilling logistics

In principle, we prefer special logistic service providers with asset-light or asset-free business models, preferably with synergy effects to the existing LIFE COURIERS companies. In principle, land and sea transport as well as order picking and warehousing are also worth considering as possible forms.
